Renee Treml: Exhibiting member. www.ReneesArtwork.com

“Everything I paint is inspired by something I have observed in nature. I love to bring awareness to the subtle things – like the grace of a barn owl or the curious look of a kookaburra – while adding a touch of
personality and humor with a subtle environmental message”.

Renee mainly works in black and white on scratchboard; however she has a long history with watercolors and mixed media acrylics. Her passion for painting natural subjects arose in part from many years spent studying ecology and working in the natural sciences. Now she spends her time trying to convey her fascination and appreciation of the natural world through her paintings.
